Anyone running the slp cooker can? Does it get food decently hot? Or any other decent cooker cans out there that aren't stupid loud. Ran a sled shed cooker on my last sled and it was the ultimate but I can't handle the noise. Or is the sled shed 850 can any quieter for that matter?

Stock can, muff pot mod. 300 miles and many sausage McMuffins. Hot enough and stock quiet!

I prefer the slow cooker effect. Keep it packed all day. Doesn’t burn anything but gets things hot. I don’t like needing to plan 2 breaks 10 minutes apart, first one to load it then need to stop again before it burns. I just keep it loaded and eat when o feel like it.

I’m not into cooking steaks or gourmet meals. I like sausage McMuffins and cheese burgers as they come prerapped in parchment paper, or get my left overs (wings) from supper wrapped up in foil.

You riveted or tacked on to the outer wall of the can? I want to try to use a muff pot on the stock can this season as well

My supplier has 2 SLP's in stock with the cooker can bracket option. $449 each if you are interested. I see them online for over $500 CDN. These are the best you can get in my opinion. They don't blow out like others I have tried. Nice and quiet. Cooker can heats pretty good too only some snow can drop through the vents on to it so I stuck foam tape on the out surface of mine for insulation.

How's getting the cooker out with this setup? The one on the stock can.
