Axys frogskins for vents

Anyone running these,.. I find there is so much moisture riding deep that my belt is starting to squeal. And its not coming in from the foot well as far as I know because its usually iced up.

have one buddy running them, he hasn't noticed any problems as of yet. Running them on 16 163.

How do these attach. Clip on some how, or just adhesive around the edge?

O have them on my ‘15 Pro, they have adhesive and just stick on.

Did they work well? I am thinking of ordering a set because too much snow gets in from the hood on deep days.

I’m happy with them, there still stuck on since the Jan 2015

I had the hood vents on my '16. They did their intended job

Buddy had em on his 15 pro.
It tended to overheat quicker on the trails if there wasn't alot of snow.

That's one issue I dont have with this 850 is overheating

When Polaris belts heat up they will squeal if the deflection is too tight. The can however slip with snow getting through footwell and I have found the easiest way to deal with it is rivet a chunk of mudflap to the footwell grid. Only cover the bottom 2/3 though so air can still flow.

I've only had one issue with my 2016. Spring ride and the trail was 80% ice.

2 Frogskinz 6 kit left at CSMS just grabbed the 3rd, paid about $70

Anybody that does not have access to the frogskins another thing that works well is cutting window screen and glue them on the inside of the vent holes with Goop glue.

I used a hot glue gun because you can heat it up later and remove if you want.

Goop usually pulls off in 1 long stretchy string too.

I put the frogskins on my doo and they just stick on, and they work great, highly recommend them to keep the powder out. My sled was choking on powder till I put these.
