Is this “pipe dent” normal 850 Polaris

Coming off a 2013 Switchback assault. Is this “dent” normal for the 850 pipe normal? Just took delivery and noticed it when I got home.

that is weird that they would stamp 850 on the heat shield the indent on the pipe looks like it was put there to stop shield movement

On my 16 AXYZ there is a rivet on the hood that rubs & leaves a dent in the pipe shield. So Im guessing on the new 850 they made that indent for a reason.
