Bikeman performance has released their 850 single Fat Azz pipe. There’s a utube dyno showing runs of 179-180hp and 116-118tq. On a long one minute pull it held 179-180 then fell off quickly as the pipe got really hot! This was done with no fuel controller.

Bikeman focuses or at least in the past on peak HP. They tend to lose bottom and mid range with their products or at least not have any decent gains through the bottom and mid range. So if max HP is your thing it’s good but most guys spend way more time in the 4500-6500 rpm range than they realize.

I don't know much about Bikeman, but i came across their u-tube dyno runs and it looks decent thru the powerband, most of my riding is 6500rpm and up, 4500 to 6500 is like riding up the trail to the alpine!!

You should get a TPS report done next time you are at the dealer for anything. You might be surprised. I bet max RPM is less than 5% of your riding.

Well another small issue with 850, the machine started retarding timing above 6500rpm. Was getting weird readout on engine temps, 95f, 73f, the engine cold, as I was driving. Checked temp. Sensor and looked at wires and found the black wire was broken off just at the sensor!!! Not even enough to connect or solder together! On trailer, not too happy when there’s 20 inches of snow to ride!! Had a spare sled.

Mine just did the same. Was reading all screwy and missing a bunch at wot. Got home to take a look and soon as I touched the wire it broke off. Waiting on a sensor now. Good thing it held out cause I wasn't getting out of where I was running at 6700

Also seeing the report of broken coolant temp sensor wire showing up on the bookface group. Might be a thing worth giving a wiggle after the season is over, so if it breaks you can get it replaced before next season.

Fyi it looks like the same sensor as what's on the 800 axys and 800 pro according to part numbers, if you wanted a spare
That’s good to know. I still carry a pipe sensor spare for my pro so I can share it with my 850 riding partners. Sled runs like a bucket when that sensor goes.

I seen on Facebook that Vohk performance and RK Tek have put together a 911 big bore kit for the 850. Not a lot of details yet but could be an option for someone looking to upgrade!
