Exactly.... Snow & Mud has gone down hill... to many meme's anymore. I use FB Forums 99% as pages are dedicated for specific product, tech & facts... you try on here and turns into I know more and bich session.

Unfortunately what I've seen on the FB machine is much much worse.
All I see on fb is a bunch of threads about cans and wraps. Maybe some bench racing if they actually own a sled and don't just ride their uncles.

No review but I went and had a look at mine after work.

I find the ones specific to a brand usually decent for tech. As soon as you combine multiple brands it’s a big dick contest my sled has never done that pissing contests. Many have real world experience but cannot get in a word.

Heard one lost a oil line off the PTO side. I will be looking closely at mine now.

I ran my Ptec with the original plugs well over 5000 Kms. I’m questioning your rebuilding abilities. Please explain.

LMAO !! Multiple engines. Lots of people got lucky though, as I did with Polaris. Considering how many 800 and 900 (866) Polaris engines went boom, I consider myself very fortunate that it never happened to me.

I too have been fortunate, still have a 800 Dragon with 4000 miles on the original engine that has NEVER stopped or missed a beat. (Fix kit yes).
I have over done my maintenance etc .......WHY, who knows.

This 850 will get figured out. Hopefully some calibration issues that’s a quick fix. As was previously mentioned, I would be checking every oil line connection.

Does Polaris still require running a small amount of oil in the fuel during break in ? Are guys running pre mix in the tank ? I know they are slobbering oil but premix would be insurance for an air lock in the oil line or ???

Rode mine for a couple more days. This sled is awesome. Just gets better and better as I get close to break-in being finished. The new front end is sick. I actually had to widen to the center position as I found it to tippy but that’s just me coming off the Pro. The power is unbelievable. So far so good.

I also got lucky. I had a 2009 dragon 800 136" with 3500 on it. No fix kit. Buddy had the 800 rmk.....3rd engine.

I took it to the mountains twice.

Sold it and had an Axys in my garage shortly thereafter. No sense effin around.
