I recently purchased a 2018 Polaris Axys 800 and installed a MBRP racing can. My first ride out I had to replace the spark plug 4 times. The dealership is telling me it has to do with the aftermarket can. Has anyone changed their stock can, and if so... any problems? Any suggestions on best aftermarket cans to run on the axys?

Replaced because of fouling? Oil or Fuel?

Sounds like you need a new dealership, never heard of a can affecting plugs. Sounds like you have something else going on.

The problem has nothing to do with the can. Both of my 18’s did this and if it only happened 4 times you are lucky. I believe it has to do with the over oiling break in programming. It is so rich that it could plugs like crazy. Once you pass 9 hours the oil rich break in is over and no more plug fouling.

I was just at the poo dealer looking at a 174 LE. He told me the break in period is 13 hours and the computer dumps 30% more oil during the break in period and they add a litre of oil in the tank at the dealer for the 'just in case'. I'm sure the over oil would be fouling plugs. I don't see a can being the issue. (He said that all of there Axys' leave the dealer with a can on it).

How many km's/hours do you have on the sled?

Oil break in is 9 hours, full engine break in is 18 hours according to Polaris.

I run a HPS can from day one and no issues. I can promise you the can is not the problem.
