Front bumper over structure tab repair or replacement

Has anyone had there bumper tabs break on them and how did they fix it? I have found a replacement part on ebay but for $43 plus about $30 to ship form the US I would like to find an alternative. I broke the tabs on my 2012 RMK but the over structure was a different and an aftermarket bumper fixed that problem. Polaris really dropped the ball on that design.

Or B&M fab. front bumpers will utilize the side mounts instead of the tabs.

Mine broke pretty early in sled's life. I've just kept running it as is. I try to avoid reefing on the front bumper's broken side but it seems to hold up regardless.
