Opinions on 1" offset spindles?

I'll be doing them this year as well. A lot cheaper than a set of arms and I like the idea of being able to walk into the dealer and pick up a stock arm if one of them darn trees jumps out at me again.

They will be more like 520.00 by the time they get to you.
Ahhh ****. Customs. Made in the USA though...shouldn't be any duty on em. Just tax I suppose.

Did anyone find they made a drastic difference?

On the Pro they certainly make a difference. The Axys already has a slightly higher rider position and is more "flickable" lol but I would also run them on the Axys. Every little bit of energy you save during the day adds up and if you can be lighter and ride with less effort why not right?

We are still trying to get these machined. Our shop is overloaded with work and its not looking good to get them this season. I will keep pushing though.

I just bolted a set from Mountain Side Products (https://mtnsideproducts.com/) on my '13 RMK Assault tonight. Can't wait to get them on the snow! And they were about $460 all in. I'll be doing a product review as soon as I get the sled off the lift.

On my sled I'd have to change the A arms and shocks, because the shocks on the Assault are longer than the Pro, so I thought this might be a more cost effective alternative.

One stock arm cost almost as much as a set of zbros. And stock are horrible

To me it's more about availability than cost. Bend an aftermarket arm on the first day of a trip and that's all she wrote

Run Source Innovations arm candy on stocks and offset spindles. Best of both worlds.

My god that looks ugly and like a horrible half assed fix

It works just as it’s designed. I have hit things I thought for sure would cripple the a arm based on what others have damaged theirs with and zero issues.

But please, if you have a better looking and more cost effective design please do create it. You will sell lots. I honestly never once thought it it looked bad and you don’t even see it.

Would this not be transferring the impact to the bulkhead and tunnel more so? I would rather fold an a arm or two than wreck the chassis.

The brace is addressing one specific area of the Axys arm which has had multiple failures with very minimal impact. It isn’t increasing the arms strength so much that it is resulting in impact transfer in a damaging way.

I’m not saying it wouldn’t work I just couldn’t look at my sled with that on it and seems way to back yard for me. I’m sure it’s better then stock just not my style at all.

Stop by our shop and take a look at our selection of "USED" A-Arms. There are some that are bent from catching a rock with the ski skag and there is one that had the brace and took a hard tree hit. You will see yourself that they still bend with the brace when hit hard but do not fail when they shouldn't. No reports of bulkhead damage from ANY customers yet and we have moved many over the last 2 seasons.

Honestly you can barely see it on the sled unless your looking for it. Its practically under the sled where its located. I guess it helps that the ones I have are the same color as the a-arms, so it blends in and looks factory.
