Brokers Marine in Camrose and Bruce"s RV in Medicine Hat had/have a few 16's left. We have been looking as well. Quite a few 17's available all over, but price discounts aren't quite in the same ballpark as 16's now. Honestly in our past buying experiences, the best time/way to pick these non-current new models are to watch the Polaris website within every 30 days as they will announce rebate programs. Or speak direct with your dealership. Lately Polaris had a $1000 rebate along with 0% / 60 months. I suspect pending unit sales the next 30 - 60 days, you will see way better sled rebates offered starting in October. Other best rebate time is 1st quarter of the new year. There has been as high as $3000 rebates, but that would more likely be on 17's that would be priced higher. May apply to 16's though at some point. I always try to deal with my dealership that I use regularly, but if they are sold out of what we are looking for, then door is open to find the best $$ deal. Seeing the $$ and rebates on other non-current new sleds from other Manufacturers, we should see some decent $$ and rebates from Polaris and dealers between now and October sled show. Just my $.02

thanks for your input. I started to look back in end of April and the 16's were under 10 grand but I didn't pull the trigger. same sled now is 12 grand. Now is probably not the best time to buy as per deals and I have a 2014 that I want to trade in.

I was quoted 9600 last spring for a '16 axys 163 with 2.6 at Riverside. The sales guy told me not to rush though as they had lots and they will more than likely be offering them for the same prices this fall. Its amazing how polaris yo-yos these prices with their dealers. I was looking at leftover 174s and they were asking more than '18 snow checks

Would be curious what you get for trade in offers. Talked to a dealer about our 2014' Pro 800 163" ES value a month ago and it was LIST @ $7400 / SELL IN THE $5000 range / TRADE IN VALUE @ $3000. UUGGHH!! We have a lot of extras and super clean.

From what I see guys are not getting what they expect to get on their trade in's. I was on kijiji last night and lots of sleds for sale. a few like mine are in the 5300 range with less miles on them. I really wish that I pulled the trigger in the spring when the cost was under 10 grand but I didn't. I was told by a dealer yesterday (that didn't want any trade in;s) that my sled should be 4-5 grand on a trade. Also told by another dealer that more and more customers are inquiring about non current models.

So is it just doo guys that get flamed for shopping around for the best price?? What happened to developing a relationship with a supporting vendor and not worrying about the cost?

Hmmmmm. I've never been able to afford to "not worry about the cost". Must not be living right I guess. :headscratch3:

Best I have seen has been $10,550 + Tax for 2016' Axys 163" NON ES w/ standard 1 year warranty. Add $500 for ES models has been the general rule. Check warranty on the pricing given. Usually standard 1 year. Extra 2 years cost more.
