Has anyone had any trouble with the rear axles breaking on this machine. My 13 yearold son was riding his the other day and broke both at the same time. Does the case have to be split to change these axles ?

no it does not have to be split. i have hooked a chain around the cup before and used a slide hammer to pull the cup out.

Once you break one side you have to be easy on the power or the other side will grenade itself as well, especially in 2wd.

the axels are broke off flush with the rear case so there is nothing to hook or grab on too . Talked to polaris dealer and they say I may have to weld a bolt onto shaft and pull them out that way ?????? these to me are a weak point and the cv joints should have broke first.
