Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 MC is your best bang for your buck, it retails in edmonton for $500 but i got it on sale at wholesale for $400. which is what the price says on the zeiss website. to go up one size in this scope is a 300-400 price jump. it has the same level of warranty leupold has, limited lifetime transferable
yep best bang for the buck right there, will be buying the same shortly.

A good option is a redfield the were recently purchased by leupold and I've heard nothing by great reviews about them. However you can never go wrong with bushnell their warranty is excellent. I recommend a small shop in Edmonton called P and D enterprise they take their time and install the scope properly not like most big retail outfits they have a excellent selection of rings and bases they even hone the rings before installing the scope

I have a Redfield 3-9x50 on my Savage 111- 7 rem mag. Its pretty nice for the $230 I paid from Eckville New and Used.I did pay Caroline Supply about $85 for mounts and mounting. It has the holdover marks and is very bright. Made my cheapy rifle into a nice setup imo.

I just put a Luepold VX1 on my 300 win mag. I can't wait to shoot now!

I have looked and shot through most of the scoped mentioned in this thread and would heavily recommend Vortex. With their no questions asked warranty, quality every bit as good as Luepold, and price, made it a easy choice for me. Go check them out at Wholesale sports, if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed.
