Compared to years past, I am disappointed with eating in Siccy. Moose's is over rated and definitely not like it used to be. Servings are small and the menu is so-so. I followed Joholio's advice and tried Brothers. Only went there twice; first and last! Joe Smucks for breakfast is definitely a winner as is the free continental breakfast at the BW. Gramma's/Pappa's (or whatever it is called) had canned peas as a vegetable and that is a no-no in my books and was a reflection on the rest of the meal. The Chinese restaurant was hum-drum and made me wonder. On a positive note, Dutchman's Dairy has the bestest ice cream.

A few year's ago, the Burner was a good place but a DD was required. Don't know what it is like now. For drinks, meeting people, and exciting times, I would think Moose's would be the choice.

The burner is even worse than grandma and grandpas lmfao

Weird you didn't like brothers, did ya go there the last time you were here??

Lemon tree breakfast is bigger and better than Joe's in my mind, and it's 7.50 including coffee, where Joe's is 10.00 for same thing but less food and 2 bucks for coffee, this is for normal 2 eggs, meat, hash browns, toast kind of thing

Mooses used to be great 7-8 years ago, about 5 years ago it sucked bad, the ladt year or so has got way better

Both Joe's and mooses pizza are OK, but small size

No we didn't. Last time we were there was last winter. Actually, this time around we tried mulligan's again and were disappointed again and the second night we got Tim's chilli and took it back to the room. It is good chilli and it is consistent at all Tim's.

But like I said above, Dutchman's has the bestest ice cream of anywhere we've been to.

Can't beat Brothers for consistent Pub Food Wing Night on Wednesdays, I believe Lemon Tree no longer does breakfast only Dinner and Pizza starting at 3pm and I give them my vote for best pizza. Weekends the Legion on Main St offer's food starting a 3pm all Home cooked and Delicious, Last weekend it was homemade Shepard's Pie on the menu, as well as other regular features.

The last time I went in there my meal didn’t even arrive so I got up and left my table of 9 and walked out leaving them to catch a ride with the rest of the group. Past experiences had me racing back to my place to have an emergency poop before I shat myself.

The last time I was in Mooses, we had about a $300 tab, sober when we arrived, and the waitress was a total beeotch, the old skinny blonde hag, she said we’re closing so you gotta go. It was 10:30, I said well you JUST brought us a fresh round and I have two more Keno games til my card is finished. Buddy said if youre going to act like this maybe customer service isnt for you, I laughed. We paid and left. Not impressed with that sh!ithole and they wont see my wallet in a loooong time.

Joe smucks is our go to. Stay at the anchor front and stumble over and stumble back. Really good food but the service is the best in sicamous in my opinion

What about the place that took over Bahamas? Know they were open last winter but didn’t even notice if they survived the summer

I was at the Moose 2 weeks ago and thought it was hugely improved. In fact i had stopped going there because i found it way too expensive for what you got and over rated.
That was not our experience 2 weeks ago, actually commented to the girl on how improved this place is now. She told me that there are new owners now and that she was hired last summer. The new owners took over just over a year ago.
I'll go back, if i get the same experience as last time.
Otherwise Joe is my go to for breakfast or lunch if i'm cruisin the bike.

Was a couple that was commuting from revy every day. The husband was a logging truck driver that wanted out and was doing the cooking. She was the server. Think it would be tough to make a go at that location now with twin anchors moved over to old town bay now. Haven’t heard of anyone going there since last winter.
