Owls has lots rocks ect... blue is fairly safe if your careful and don't do too much downhill carving. I would recommend blue or quest over owls till it snows some more.

Rode Eagle today. Great day. 125-165cm in the back. Made it back to the lake where the trail goes north to Monster. Lots of fun to be had still if you poke back right away. Watch out for hard trenches at the waterfall.

Trail is fine from km 2 until you get higher then its terribly whooped.

Well worth it.

Rode Owls today. Windy, freezing rain and a little snow falling. We found some good pockets in the trees but a reload is desperately needed. Also, there is now a layer of ice that is going to be an issue in the coming months when the big dumps fall.

On another note, if you’re the human piece of garbage that left an entire case of beer cans and some other crap in the pullout at 2km on the owls trail, please find another hobby that doesn’t involve any form of forestry or backcountry use. And for the love of fcuk, don’t reproduce.

At the end of the day, I wasn’t at work and I was out on the snow. Tough to complain.

Can anyone report on how the snow is eat Eagles? Sled Sicamous' page isnt allowing the grooming report to load, just curious how much new snow Eagles got and if they were able to groom the trail to the cabin finally?
Thanks

There working on the website and changing it and adding the Webcam at owls

If you go to home page first, then the 3 bars, and snow report it works

Parked at the two kilometer pull out at Owls. The groomer had unloaded and was just ahead of us on the way up. Big shout out to the grooming staff as the trail was very decent considering how skinny the snow is from the bottom up to around 10km. If the area doesn’t get a reload soon, that bottom section is gonna be in real bad shape. The connector trail was groomed so that was also nice treat on the way out.

We rode Blue for the day and it has the same ice crust as Owls, some places up to a 1/4” thick. That feels real great on your ankle when carving with half a boot off the running board. Or even one foot out. It’s like riding and hearing Velcro ripping all the time. All and all, it wasn’t horrible.
