Sweet to hear. Now I just need to figure out how this Alberta boy millwright can get winter employment in the power sports industry in bc so when I tell the wife I’m ‘heading to bc for work’ I’m not lying. I’d love to be able to work and play.

You obviously haven't ridden with a guy/girl or ridden a new 2018 Cat... Those things pull hard, and are out there as we type crushing it and spanking Doo's. Those things rip man! And this is coming from a guy (me) that rides and loves Doo. Got spanked hard by a Cat the other day.

Also little tip Tex: Sounds like the new shop is great and super professional, but bashing other companies online, and other brands don't make the shop look good, and or doing your boss any favors... If you guys are stuck dealing through Banner, wouldn't you want to keep your friends close, enemies closer kind of thing?

You also never know who is reading online there, bro.

Merry Christmas

I did say a personal level above, same as bobsledders issues with them

And calling cat a ditch pickle or sh!tty kitty is my observations, no different than ford's, or what ya think about Albertans

Don't down play yourself, your a piece of work and have NO ROOM TO SAY NOTHING

But thanks for your advise

Only difference with Baraaaaaap's posts to yours is: Your's read like a insane persons manifesto and a terrible view on other Nationalities. Where Baraaaaaap is a truth speaker, has easy light hearted comments about Albertans. Have fun trying to keep up with new Cats bud.

And PS, can I get a 15% discount for being Métis at the new RPM shop or whatever it's called?

I have to agree with your posts, I would have a very hard time giving my business to a shop with employees that rag on other shops like this. Most likely wouldn't. A good business and shop let's their professionalism speak for it self.
Currently this is not a good start for a new business imo.
Plus I feel the same about people that continually bagger and bash other banners, let people ride what they wish and like and your opinion should not be an issue other then you having one that maybe your needing to deal with privately.

Get a grip man. EVERY shop has employees and even owners that rag on other competitors. Don't kid yourself. Not all put it on the internet, but I've heard my share of running competitors down in a few dealerships and shops themselves.

I did say my personal opinion, and it's with the Vernon store, mabe the others are better, no idea cause it's way to far to drive

Unfortunately, h20 was my dealer and is and was great for me, and MY opinion on h20 will not change cause he treated me great

I've said the same thing for 3 years, nothing more nothing less

And I even have a relative that works there ( banner in Vernon)

So if I had issues with banner in Vernon ( or any other one) , or Backus, or shuswap extreme or any other dealer in the area, I'm not aloud to say it on a open form cause I work at mountain Park, I don't understand

This is MY snow and mud account and I have a personal opinion, no matter where I work

Oh, and I really really don't like turple brothers in red deer, was more of a buck lake Bob or track side kind of guy, woops I said that out loud... should my employment situation dictate my personal opinion on turple bros also???

I'm a Chevy guy and hate Kipp Scott ( or should I say rip Scott) But I worked at a different g.m dealer , would ya still tell me the same thing????

And back to the topic

Shop was super busy today, shop and rentals

Seems the 850's panels and this cold ( when side hilling and rubbing panel) don't get along, had a few in today looking for panels lol, and zip tied fixed them for the time being

Don't recall xm's panels doing this, mabe new plastic isn't as flexible when cold

Everyone is entitled to their opinion , that doesn't mean you have to tell everyone on a public forum.( especially when you are trying to promote the business you own or work for)
Anyhow, good luck with the new venture,it sounds very well thought out and im sure it will be successful.

Nice shop Mountain Park!

Stopped in today and staff were very friendly and helpful. Lady working the main floor very hospitable and Trent at rental desk got it done!

Picking up a rental tomorrow. Had some electrical issues at unloading with my sled today and never left the parking lot.

Always good to see another fresh face in the powersports industry. If you treat people fair, give them good value for their hard earned dollar, and have the under promise....over deliver attitude, you will be successful no matter what brand you sell and support. I work at a multi brand dealership and our reputation is built on honesty and integrity. We want to see all dealerships treat all customers fairly. We dont care where you bought your unit from, or what brand you ride. If we can offer you a service or product within our store, you will be treated as if you bought your unit with us. If all dealerships would have this attitude, we would all benefit from the value that this would offer and the dealerships would be successful. The unit sale is only part of the experience, the after sales parts/accessories and service dollars that follow is the key to success.
I truly wish all the best to MPM on their opening and look forward to coming for a visit to your new shop!!

I would like to comment on non OEM shops performing Safety Recalls on OE Units. Because of liability reasons and audit steps that we are required to adhere to, we are not permitted to have anyone but our own Factory Trained Techs perform the Safety Recall. If we were to provide a replacement recall part to an unauthorized service facility, there are severe implications that could arise including liabilty issues as well as fines and loss of OE Dealership Status. We also do not discriminate on where the unit was bought as our manufacturer has incentives for us to complete Safety Recalls.
How warranty work is handled is solely at the discretion of the dealership handling the warranty, but once again, liability and dealership status comes into play again, as well as the reputation of the manufacturer. We are encouraged by our manufacturers to aid any customer with an issue or warranty claim.

Good value and service usually ends up with repeat and or new customers that are focused on how they are taken care of, not just on price alone
Just my 2 cents
