I heard they are grooming today. I don't know where they're starting.

That was in the far north end where I ride. I can’t say what the area around the cabin is like. It is good though. A little exploring and there is tons of fresh to be had

Pukeashun was good on Saturday. Snow is setting up there. Found great snow near grizzly cabin.

Headed to crowfoot on Easter weekend with my 12 year old boy. Just wondering what kind of area to expect. Never been there is it similar to Fernie. Is it fairly safe and not to easy to get lost there. Slowly want to learn that area as we have a place 20 mins from there. Thanks

It’s a perfect area for that. Easy trail ride up and the club always does a great job on the grooming. Once up top there is a large main cabin. There is a big burn area and rolling hills as you make your way to the look out. If you want to go over to grizzly cabin there is a bit of a drop then you basically climb to the top of the hill. After that there area seems endless. There is some areas that have avy risk but avoidable. Might see you over there might go there on the Saturday of the long weekend.

The area has something for everyone. The club does an absolute stellar job. 3 cabins in the area. Lookout is novel lil cabin with quite a view. The locals have been great. They love their area and it shows.

Some ok spots up top and a nasty crust not too deep right now but it will be ugly after a big dump. They haven't started grooming because of the lack of snow so staging was pretty high up for this time of year. The poles aren't up yet. I'm guessing for the same reason.
I hit 3 pretty good landmines that just about took the bars out of my hands and one that stopped the sled and threw me over the bars.
Ran into a couple of riders that said Blue Lake was much better.
