If things change for you, come west and let's meet up for a beer or 18

weve stayed at the anchor riverfront for most of our sicamous trips the past couple years. $80 for a room with 2 queens and a single bed....no bed bugs...yet lol we go best western for the 3-5 day trips and get the benifit of the hot tubs, breakfast, drying room, Etc.

We were out to do the real estate run and ended up a little disappointed. Some lots in Siccy but no LNG and a raw lot in Malakwa but again no LNG. That scares the crap out of me for utilities. Our hydro has gone from $900 to $2300 per year and we mostly heat with wood here in Elkford. I heard from a guy who paid $1400 for the months of July and August running an AC system and hot water with electricity. There is LNG on the Salmon Arm side of the lake and in the Vernon area. Lots/houses are cheaper in Malakwa but the further south you go the more expensive. Salmon Arm has the amenities and is only a 15-20 minute drive to Siccy. Lots of variation in SA from the $300G's to millions. if you want to get creative and get off the grid, have a look at Seymore Arm.
propane is still fairly cheap for heating and south of sicamous places like enderby for natural gas. I just use electicity for lights, appliances and water heating in my 1212 ft mobile. A neighboor of mine's employer just installed solar heating on a huge home. it will be interested in seeing how that goes.

This is our last night at the Anchor Riverfront Inn, and I would recommend the place for anyone.

Sundog B&B is cheap - Jarret makes a good breakfast and his hot tub is nice

We looked at that too, but nobody said anything until now. We will keep it in mind for next time

Unless the hot tub is inside, they don't have one here. We also ended up staying a couple more nights, but going home this morning :(
