Headed down this way from Edmonton Feb 1-5 , never rode Sicamous before but want to give it a shot. Usually ride revelstoke , vale & McBride. Just looking to switch it up, I've been following the threads to best get my head wrapped around where to go, but didn't come up with anything solid. Looking for some support from locals or frequent visitors on where to go for best results. The group is intermediate in skill level, 2 Polaris 163s and I ride a boosted 153 Viper. Any pointers would help so we get a solid plan of where we are going to go. Rather then wasting valuable seat time! Thanks !

Start with Blue Lake to get an idea of the terrain stage from Owlshead Parking lot and take the connector over to Blue

I would recommend riding owls head on your first day, right in town ( the turn is behind the esso) and only 20km to the cabin. If you're staying at the best western grab a trail map front reception as you need to make sure you turn at the 16km mark. The cabin is one of the nicest I've ever been in. Area has some great bowls and good open riding. I would also spend a day at hunters range (enderby) as that cabin is also great and the area has some awesome tree riding

We are in fact staying @ the best western. Thanks for the assistance so far fellas. Always weary when headed to new areas and have no clue where to go, but how else do you find new areas without exploring. How has the snow conditions been, I know revy is shaping up good, I cant see sicamous being too far behind?

The Best Western will have the snow and Avalanche report posted in the lobby, if memory serves they also offer a guide service, if so inclined...lots of people in the parking lot at Owls head and Blue Lake, , ask around most are very helpful...
