Just returned from an amazing trip to Oregon and came back through Washington. Wow I found some amazing places to ride my bike. Gifford Pinchot, and Wenatchee. GP was incredible, the views the trails winding through meadows and huge trees, Mt. Adams...
Wenatchee was my favorite. Start at the top of the mountain and sidehill goat trail all the way down the valley. Switchbacks so tight I had to get off my bike a couple times and lift the back around. Definately going back next yr.

My buddy and I were going to ride in that area on our trip as well as the tilamook area west of Portland but we were a little to early as there was still a lot of snow in the high country in June and the best riding was not open yet We rode the dunes at rexburg id then the dunes at Christmas valley Oregon and the dunes on the Oregon coast as well as some awesome mountain single track out side of Medford Oregon definitely worth the trip if you are in southern Oregon on your next tripWhere did you ride in Oregon ?

Nice. I didn't get over to the dunes. Wanted to ride Tillamook but just ran outta time. Instead I rode China Hat, near Bend. Sandy flats and such. And I rode near John Day. Visited the local bike shop and got maps for snowmobile trails. 200 plus miles of trails. Awesome traction, some good twisties. Spent a couple days there.
Crossed the bridge at Hood River into Washington and rode Gifford Pinchot. That was wild, narrow and hair raising at times.
Have to go back and explore more there for sure. Unreal views.
Wasn't planning on riding Wenatchee, just driving through and thought this looks fun. The local bike shop was awesome directing me to a local ride area.
The best part is its only three hrs cross the border.

Yeah there was still snow on some of the trails when I was there in ...... Aug. eeek!!:)
