It's getting close to that time of year again anyone know how the snow is looking in the pass? Powder king cam isn't showing any yet wondering if it's starting to stick up high

The forcast looks very good for a early December ride. Bring it on. The pass was good to me last year. Hopefully there is twice the sno this year.

Hope for more than double as last year. I thought last year was chitty considering all the rain the pass received.

Everytime I unloaded on the hiway last year it was raining, but once we broke thru the alpine it was all snow. What was scary last year in January we lost our base. You would get off your sled walk 3 feet and fall straight down. Just sink. Had to grab the back of your sled to keep you up. Here's hoping we get dumped on and a good solid base forms. Lost of scary snow at beaver last year.

Nov 15/15. The trail in is now terrible and filled with bare stumps and logs. I had an expected A-arm destruction day. Wasn't much snow (about 2.5ft) but we had a blast and it is a decent start to the year once we got up high enough.
I don't recommend until the next dump only to cover the trail in.

Check out the MIN's for the North Rockies on Avalanche.ca. It'll tell ya what you looking for. In particular, loll at the 2 for powder king from December 6th. I helped Ryan with the one and was pretty surprised by what we found

Thinking of doing powder king New Years weekend, does anyone know how the conditions are so far?

I was talking to a buddy that ripped up powder king on the weekend. Snow was nice and deep but no bad. 4-5 in spots. lots of stucks. Have you checked the pine pass hiway cam?
