Calgary has lots. Pre ordered one, but ended up not picking up wasn’t a big fan. Opening on top was small and hard to use.

Excellent question. Norona has a shovel that looks like it will work well. I think its called a G3???

I use the spade shovel from G3 www.genuineguidegear.com some of the best avy gear in the world used world wide by many acmg guides, they also have the bigger avi shovel to and you can order with d-grip or t-grip

Probably tested it for 2 years and was good then went to the cheapest supplier. Happens all the time.

Lubricate the docking ends of the TIZIP, don't reef on the straps. The instruction say don't apply to the zipper chain, but keep chain clean. That R3 shovel fits in there very well and is a quality shovel. You can put a lot of items in the bag. The only issue I had is when tightening the straps one side would loosen off as fast as you snugged them up. Have to look at how they were ran through the clips and see if both sides were similar and fix.
