Getting Fit for Sled Season!

I hear a lot of talk in my group of sledders about mods and tricks for a lighter or more powerful sled when in reality the vast majority of us would benefit from lightweight and/or power mods to our bodies.

I took up running beginning of 2017 and as of this fall I'm 50+/- lbs lighter (depending on what I had for breakfast) and in the best physical shape of my last decade if not my life. I didn't ride mountains at all last season so I'm eager to see how much of a difference all the distance ran, beers left undrank and (slightly) better diet has earned me.
