My riding partner was went for the weekend yesterday and came back last night,rained all day at Ruth snow is rotten and trail was gone first 10 km ,he said the lake and river was flooded,doubts if you could even cross the lake now.looks like kakwa may be done unless it gets a bit colder and snows

we were in on Monday, any snow you found was like concrete; literally. only the carbides made any sort of impression... scratchers down and sleds overheating. lake was kinda froze but had clearly been open water recently. Had rained all day sunday...trail in; any hills were sketchy, and were troublesome to get back up at the end of the day....I think she's done boys!

What it cost to put a camera up on say Ruth?its always tough to get a good read on conditions out there.
