Hi folks
well the county is finished hauling gravel from their pit at the Narrows.
Now we need some snow to cover up the bare gravel
was out knocking down the lumps a couple of days ago and it seems the warm weather brought out the atvs, oh well I can fix most but not all
See you on the trails
Don

So be careful when riding north of the lookout. You will run into this.

Hi Folks
Well the snow is starting here at the Lake, now we need some major dancing so the graded road the county used to move gravel can get covered.
I haven’t been able to groom the east side for a month.
The plan is to hit the east side on Monday and Tuesday. Sorry not going to groom when the folks are riding.
As far as the ATV ruts go. Can’t stop anyone from riding in the bush.
Would ask they use 4x4 and not 2 wheel drive.
Im thinking we are just about out of the Deep freeze so get out and ride. We have over 2 feet of snow here at the lake.

Se you on the trail
Don

Hello Don, was out today, from the boat launch to the grazing reserve and then back around to the lookout. Wife says trail in nice shape. I was breaking trail almost all day in 3-4 inches of powder. That has not happened in years. Was so nice. The only section that was rough was into the lookout trail ( from the main trail in) roads were all covered with fresh snow. What a nice place to go.

Thanks again for for all your work.

Is is there a plan for the spouses to go for a burn when the ladies ride is taking place? My wife is interested, As I will have to trailer in to bring her. Thanks Mike

I went on a four day trip to Mcbride and Blue River so the girls went riding themselves to the farm.
They said about 5" fresh and some nice drifts.

Good day folks.
Getting a little snow here this morning.
You’ll need rocks in you’re pockets today, is it ever windy here
today.
See you on the trail
Don.

Another good day riding at the lake.
Snow was really good.
Stopped in the Pines for a "little" fire to cook some smokies.
Hawaiian pizza pops in the cookers while driving.

How’s the snow after today? I’m thinking of checking the area out tomorrow for the first time

Rode out there today and seen some other fresh sled tracks as well. Alittle chilly at -28 plus windchill but we had a great time!

We were across the lake, past the gravel pit and on a single track that went through a sloughy area. I broke through and was riding in water. Looked at it after and almost looked like water was boiling out of the snow it was very strange.

Rode last night until about 11 pm.
Nice 3/4 moon out for night riding.
Today did about a 5hr ride.
Man was there ever a lot of deep untracked cutlines to hit.
Never even hit half of them.
