Hay Folks, winter is just around the next corner, not this corner!!!

Many thanks to the group that helped Prune the trail to the BIG Black tub, that will save my mirrors.
This group just didn't quit, on the way back to the Lake they stopped a dozen times and moved and removed
many hangers. :)

And the Geo is Tracked up and ready to go.
See you on the trails
Don

- 11 was the coldest I saw this morning, all the slews were frozen over this morning
and most still covered coming home tonight.
It's starting to happen!!:)

Well it's starting to happen out here at the lake, the north end is 1/3 froze over, all the slews
are frozen over.
I was doing some pruning from the old black tub, lots of ruts in the trails, we will need a lot of snow
to fill those holes in.

There is some changes at the Lake it's a little stiffer now:cool:
For those that have been beat up by the over hanging willows
when traveling through to Figure Lake from the Old Black tub trail, not to worry, pruning completed.
I parked on the north end of Figure lake and had lunch, too much snow, the muskeg is not freezing.

See you on the trails

Hi Folks
Well the weather here has been cold enough to tighten up the lake,
Measured the ice thickness this morning just off the beach at 4 inches, this is right on
schedule.
Added a new piece to the Geo, this will stop the trees from bashing the mirrors

See you on the trail
Don

Hi Guys
I was measuring the ice in front of the beach this morning at 5.5 inches, should be 8
by Friday if we don't get too much snow. I like to see 10 before I venture too far off the beach.

See you on the trails

Well guys
I counted 7 flakes landing in the back yard.
No snow but we are making ice and freezing in the muskeg so no complaints yet.
I started packing last year around the first week in December.

Hi Folks
Well my prediction of riding by the end of the month is going sideways, but
the benefit is we will have safe ice when the snow comes.
I measured the ice depth at 8 inches on Saturday and the guys are out ice fishing in the narrows catching some nice Perch.

See you on the trials

Hi Folks
Ice testing went well today, between 10 and 12 inches of ice tested infront
of block 14 over to block 12 and across the Narrows to the far side of the lake.
I was in the Rhino and all seems safe.
I made my way to the trail that's travels along the top of the Lake, boy does it need work,
I've never seen it in such poor condition, between trees down and old logs and willow all over the trail.
I made it to the Grazing reserve and to the Old tub trail and the worst is between the trail turn off and the trail to Waltons mountain.
Soo if you feel like doing a little pruning that's the place to go.
Can't groom that trail this year if it stays like that.

Hope to see you on the trail doing a little clearing
Don
