King Quad 750 vs. Brute Force 750

Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on these two bikes and how they compare to eachother. I know that the brute has a considerable power difference bottom to mid end, but what about the whole bike as a package. I owned a 05 brute force for 3 years and just traded it in on a new king quad. I really like the king quad but miss the bottom end of the brute. My brute was also not efi, and it was a pain in the a$$ to start. Just wondering what some of your thoughts are as to how the stand up to one another....

Makwa is an hour and a half north east of lloyd. Just north of Paradise hill and st walburg....Meadow Lake area. We are having a rally on april 19th, its a great rally if any of you guys are interested in making the trip. Im one of the organizers, so if any of you have any questions feel free to ask.

Catmando...i know that the brutes are efi now. I just didn't have very good luck with my Brute force, and had heard from many ppl that the king quad is a very reliable bike. I also heard that if you put that velocity ECU in them that they are very close to the bottom end power of the brute force. Just waiting for my velocity ecu to come in so i can try it out

If you put some pipes on that king quad youll rid yourself of that low end bog your experiancing. did it to mine now i have full power right from the get go.

with the vid install you'll notice more bottom pull with more power everywhere. It's a definite improvement, you lose the override crap should bring smiles all around. Get some tires on and you should be good.
Fuel mileage improves, more low end and mid range power, installed mine on an 06 700, This is the way it should have come from the factory in my opinion, makes the king a very good ATV. Not the fastest, quickest, etc.

Good choice AC4life.... I have 2008 750Axi Kingquad too - why did I choose Suzuki? I have owned Suzuki road bikes that were totally bulletproof so I figured the 750Axi would be the same and so far I haven't been disappointed - did u get yours from Martins in Lloyd? + would be interested in rally next year....

I got the 08 brute force 750 efi it kick ass!!! The one thing I didn't like is it overheat and I fixed that.

I have 8300 trouble free kms on my '05 Kingquad. All thru muskeg/pipelines, etc.......nough said!!

2 friends have the King 700's and I would take My BF 750 anyday. A few things like the Dif lock lever are great!! The King did not want to go over 30mph in low, Felt like she would blow!! The BF will do 40mph in low so I shift a LOT less then that do. The King has a softer ride but I like the stifer BF ride more.

4600 operating kms; same conditions on another buddies '06 KQ, 7500 kms on my bro-in-laws '05 KQ; same all muskeg conditions. We use these quads EVERY day. There is no other quad we have seen that will take the punishment these Suzukis have taken, without one trip to the dealer for any of them. The only operator that doesn't run a KQ that operates for us runs an 800 Can-am; has tore apart the vis-lock, as well as 3-4 other trips to Edson for repairs in under 4000kms. We don't use our quads for playing, or road racing; in the muskeg 30kms/h is not even an attainable speed. Even with over 8000 kms on mine, it'll still do over 100kms/h on the roads, and catwalk on the trails. When someone can show me any other quad that has proven itself the way these ones have I'll be a believer. I've put more kms on two different sets of tires than most people have on quads they claim to be "the best".

Nice to here comments from an everyday user, not a poser, Have an 06 king also, a few querks but no time in the quad hospital, can't say that for a few kawis or can ams.

I have an 06 KVF 700, only 1500km on it but so far no problems. My cousin just bought an 08 KQ 750 and i would buy one in a heart beat. i never got to ride it but it sure looked like it had a tonn of power. I Still love my kawi and hope it does'nt let me down.

I have an '07 KQ700 and it's been great so far. A while ago I was wanting to get a Can-Am but that feeling is long gone now. As mentioned above, it has it's querks but I wouldn't ride anything else right now. Mine isn't exaclty stock either....

IMO Suzuki took quite a few years developing the 700 King. The ATV community complained about Suzuki's tardiness in coming out with a 700 to compete with the other brands at the time. Their result is a machine with allot of positive features, for instance a high performance double overhead cam, hemi head engine laying down at a 48 deg angle to lower the CG. The single cylinder design that doesn't have the inherent problems of a twin, being the rear cylinder running hotter than the front. EFI right from the start -no carbs. The twins develop more HP/cc while the single develop more torque and spins up faster than the twins. Electric locking front diff, (at the time) no levers to hang on to. Internal centrifugal clutch for smooth engagement compared to a snowmobile design that Kawi uses to grab the belt. Much better roll control for cornering, partly due to the lower CG.

These are the plus items for me to choose the King over the BF. As mentioned earlier the King still isn't perfect with a few quirks to contend with. We now have two Kings and don't regret our decision to purchase them at all. Next year our plan is to move up to the 750 King's and have considered the 700 Griz, but definitely not 750 BF. Just my opinion.

I have a 05 KQ with 8,000 km, and my bro inlaw has one with 9,000 km, neither of us have been let down yet. Best Quad I have ever owned.

I have a 2008 brute force 750 bought it in march and it has 7200kms on it now

, i have a few big problems with it but it has all been warrenty
1.4 wheelie drive stopped working
2.Problems with the clutch squeeking
3.fuel spitting out under the handle bars
4.lost power and bogged if i went passed 1/8th throttle maxed at 35km/h
4.same problem again turned out the wiring had melted from the exhaust and my fuel pump had shorted out(took 3 months for country side motorsports to figure out and 1 month for the new wiring harnnes fuel pump and injectors to come in so had to suffer my 120km a day route like that for 2 months

5.engine brake stopped working
6.oil leak on crank case( i really hope that will be warrenty :d)
7.Something on the rear diff let go and it started on fire and smoking hot

8. front a-arm bushings wore out and had to pay for it but kawasaki warrentyed it after.:d

kawasaki has been excellent with there warrennty on the problems that i have had its just the service at the said dealer sucks butt. They might have fixed the problems for 09

we have owned both king quads and brutes. They are both great quads. If you want power go with the kawi. The suzuki's suspension is a little more plush however if you load it up with quad box, chainsaw exc.... they do sag down quite a but so you might want to consider stiffer springs in the back. Either quads are great!! I personaly would choose the kawi due to the awsome v-twins power and tourque.

I have an '07 Brute Force with 3500 hard kms on it...............it has never missed a beat as of yet and it really takes a beating......
