Damn Thieves

Today at some point during the day someone broke into the rear cargo box on my quad and stole all my survival gear out of it.. Pissed me off, thieves! About 300$ of stuff missing gerrrrr but they were nice enough to leave me my empty pop cans I packed out of the bush on last weekends ride.. Whoever it was is pretty dumb because on the side of a town house complex I found a few of my things strewn about almost as if they dropped everything out of the waterproof bag I keep it in and then scrambled to pick it all up. They then jumped a chain link fence because it was bent and had their foot prints. I hope he cuts his fingers off on my hatchet he stole.. jerks!!!! Just sucks when people steel from you because you then start to really focus on making sure every little thing is locked up. :rant:

Yes it really sucks, it has happened to most of us, very upsetting for sure. The loc & ride box on the Polaris is very easy to remove, good thing they didn't take the whole thing.

Yup it does suck, it happened to me once. I was so pizzed off I put in video cameras that record to the net to cover the acreage.

yes, its a piss off, forsure. last june, my 07 rene got stolen along with my open trailer... of course, i had it insured for valve with all my reciepts and they gave me so much for the quad and 80% of all mods..

The cops found my trailer and i got it fixed, but now i won't buy an open trailer any more.. once you get vailatated, you always have a bad taste in your mouth.. i bought a 6 x 12 enclosed plus i random camp in in..

The loc and ride cargo box they popped the hinges out from the back side with no visible damage showing. The front where you have the latches were locked. I put the top back on the box and its fine with nothing broken. I just wonder how they popped the back hinges out without wrecking anything. It's crazy how offend these guys get away with no one seeing. Ahh some people. Guess it could have been worse with them screwing with the quad.

Sucks to hear about the Renegade Mark, I've heard that story before and hearing it again doesn't make it any easier. Same with stuff getting stolen out of your quad.

We had a few welding trucks of ours get broken into (once even caught at our house!!!) They where caught so thats great.

I also got a close friend who had his truck broken into while he was at hockey practice.

couple years ago a friend was over and we were watching a movie when all of a sudden we hear our vehicle alarms, well a baseball bat and a three iron later i dont think those thieves are coming back... although someone did do a burnout on my lawn last year so... meh it was worth it punk kids got it handed to them

i bet they couldnt walk normally for weeks!

Holy Crap that sucks major!! Edmonton is getting worse and worse! No matter where you live, I have had 3 vehicles broken into, 1 car stolen and never recovered...friggen sucks MAJORLY! All in different spots of the city of Edmonton. Even lived in the "rich area" and still had my car and truck broken into!! I am sure you reported it to police, not that they are going to do anything about it, so long as there is a record! Thankfully there was no damage or vehicle theft!!

I caught 4 theives last summer that were dumb enough to set off a car alarm and then return 5 minutes later to continue theiving. I called the cops and watched the show from the second floor of my house... 7 cars and a K-9 unit. They caught one of em who ratted out the others. The next weekend they egged my house. I told the cops about this and the judge hammered them hard for victimizing me again. I've been ripped off sooooo many times, but just catching the theives once was VERY gratifying.

Yup, friggin' little punks......... The other nite, one of the neighbours caught a little oriental kid in "punked out" clothes trying to break into a car that was parked up the side street by my house..... He confronted the kid and he took off!!! Saw him a few minutes later walking around some other cars a half block away..... Confronted again, and the kid said he was visiting these people, then he took off again....... Punks!!!!

sorry to hear that.... but at least they left the quad!!

You gota wonder sometimes if punks do it just for the thrill....like if they had to steal to feed their family because they are hungry thats one thing, but to steal for the hell of it is another......

I'll tell you one thing, if thieves had a finger(s) cut off on live TV for everytime they got cought stealing there would be a lot less of them stealing our sh_t....... :rant:
