I had red wings be for love them but they don't got the best grip on the floor the cat boots well they feel clumsy and seem cheap for what you pay was thinking the Dakota boots for marks work wear house might be okay . Any other ideal on what works good out hear ?

Ive had great luck with the Dakota Quad Comfort line at Marks...I go through a lot of boots and they last every bit as long as any redwing for about half the money. Ive also had good luck with the 8" Cat boots, also from Marks

Red Wings might not last any longer but they are definately the most comfortable. At least on my feet they are.

Red wings are by far the best but don't have the best grip. Only boot that stands up to invert though!

I've been wearing the same pear of Red Wing Pecos slip on boots for over 5 years now. The only down side of redwings is that the toe blows out of them easily. If you are going to be kicking things with them put toe caps on them

Ive had a pair of Dunlops last me for over a year and a half now and they arent shoing even the smalles bit of ware. Any other boot is going to soak up invert and never let go of it.

I'd never even think for a second about using a boot other than the Dunlops. Even in the summer they are comfy. Can you power wash a set of redwings 20 times a day for a whole year?

Are you talking about the Dunlop rubber boots? You can't compare leather boots to rubber boots. And if you treat Redwings with Dubbin once and a while they won't leak under moderate wet conditions

Had a pair of dakotas but they were like walking on cement bare foot all day...got some red wings and they are a lot more comfortable. When well cared for, they repel water quite well
