The stator is the culprit.BRP is well aware of there crap stators. They are crossing their fingers hoping not to have to replace these under warranty. They should have a recall. I have a 2011 800 etec. The stator cooked under to much heat. Likely it wasa under warranty. but my $400 tow job...

It is your stator. Im told the stators in the 2011 models are actually previous year stators that they slapped in the etecs, even though they require way more voltage than non etecs. The coatings on the stator can't handle the heat and crack. The fault codes are all over the place because the...
