With the key shut off the test light doesn't light up. With the key on and the clamp grounded, the test light lights up when touched to the neg terminal. Is this normal?
My 04 rev seems to have all its weight on the skis. At slow speeds or in the shop it is a good pull or push to move the handle bars. Everything is straight, greased, etc. I do have simmon skis ( double skagged ) but I believe it was tough with stock skis. I've switched from the stock cheapo...
That's a great observation on burying your sled and breaking the light.
This will help out croweman as he is always buried and stuck somewhere. We are not sure why he even needs a taillight as he is always at the back of the pack. Lol.

I am going to swap tracks and was under the impression that I would need different drivers for the clearence. The pitch is the same, but stock drivers are 10 tooth. Would I need to go to 9 tooth or 8 even for the 3 tenths of an inch of track paddle difference?

Purple gas? What is the opinion on running marked fuel in your sleds? A Yamaha dealer in BC has fuel pumps and they sell marked premium fuel.
Would the dye have any negative effects on the engine?
I have the better boards on a gen 2 sled. it was an easy install and they work great. For the Gen 2 chassis the boards go up the sides of the tunnel and really fit well.
