find a service manual and check the valve adjustment. i don't know this machine but it sure sonds like the problem. a leak down tester can be rented also and as long as it comes with direction it is a pretty basic tool. air compressor and fitting is needed.
make sure there is the proper free play at the lever. could be that it is not releasing quite all the way and then when it heats up the brake will apply.I think there is an adjustment nut on the lever to master push rod.
I haven't ridden in a long time but i always had a fanny pack with ; small vise grips, hockey tape, snare wire, spare jets, leatherman, compass, chain master link. i used a film container for the small bits. tape was for first aid purposes and you can fix a lot of things with snare wire...

clean clutches and seal exhaust leaks can make as much difference as anything else. lots of them out there are still working incredibly well and a lot are under revving due to misaligned clutches and so on. sometimes the free things make the biggest difference in the end!

thanks, it is a new unit built by a dealer . it is under warranty and very expensive but i think i would rather buy it instead of used. It looks like a short run or two on it for set up. Do i need the boost controller and guages etc or will that automatically be on it. I just dont want to buy it...
