In the market for a good quality tunnel bag and have come across the skinz bag. Liking the universal/modular thing they offer. Are these bags worth the coin and any pointers as where to buy? Thx
What kinda miles on it? Seeing its a 2012 it likely miled up enough for a set of reeds. Check an make sure your oil pump is returning to idle position, on the linkage. Another thing that can help is relocating the air intake sensor closer to the throttle bodies. Might help ya.
Talk to Gene at White Knuckle Motorsports in wainwright AB. He will get you all set with the right stuff. Straight shooter. He has done hundreds of these sleds including supplying all of my 2012 mods. Ive got 6500 km on mine and absolutely love it. Wont be waisting your time for sure.
I strongly recommend putting the o ring over the two little pegs. The sled we fixed like this had about 150 miles on it and everything was shinny clean. Its a major pain to get in there with lube etc. That's why we used the oring. Do it once and no worries.
Think they are on the track. Lots of these coyotes around. Watched there system on camera. Three stages to the crime. They will be caught. We will be ready.
Found a problem on a 2015 8000 belonging to my son. Look down underneath your y pipe and find the throttle body/oil pump linkage. Move the throttle flipper while looking down there. A small light and mirror or an inspection cam helps. Found on his that oil pump was getting hung up, not...
Didn't get to make the trip. The sled robber crew showed up in whitecourt so spent morning waiting for rcmp. Heard Edson having trouble too. Be careful with your stuff. Locks ab cameras not stopping them. Some kind of organized ring.
Just a word of caution, Be on your toes for sled and trailer security. Our hotel lost one guests complete trailer and sleds. Our group lost one sled and an attempt was made to get three more. Our group had everything locked up too. Right in front of security cams also. These thieves...
If you have access to version 5 of the Bc/Ab backroads gps card, it has 95% of the trail marked. I also found a google map image. Look around on net and will find printable map. Ive never ridden anything south of silver summit, so not sure what our trip in a couple days will be like.
Bunch of us riding to Edson from Whitecourt on the second. We are staging from town. There is a staging area 10 south of whitecourt on highway 32 but Ive never used it Hoping the trail is passable. Supposed to be roughly 90 miles one way. Cant confirm but believe there was some recent snow,
Thanks for the update. Things are looking a little raw. Never been all the way through, so not sure how much water/swamp would need to cross. Might be waiting it out.
