Went to Cataract for the first time today with Dyslexic (my brother) and his son Jake (my nephew)! What a blast! We should do a vintage get together up there one weekend. A few meadows made for hours of fun!!!
Had a few jetting problems, but I think next time should be right on the money.
Here's a pic of the new hood.
And here's a pic from yesterday completely nailing this drift and embedding myself in it.
Another angle.
And Dyslexic finding some sweet drifts!
He just about made it up this drift, but the crust was extremely thick.
Another great day just foolin around!!
What a great day yesterday tearing up the local ditches!! Perfect temp, perfect amount of snowfall, and perfect amount of wind to make the drifts "perfect"! Dyslexic, my nephew and myself were out for almost 3 hours just havin a blast.
Were the other guys Brett and Jeff??? If so Brett (dadeuce) is my nephew, and probably his helmet cam that was lost. He was going to get some vids yesterday. Dang!! Sounds like a blast......I'll have to give him a buzz.
Let's hope this "SNOWFALL WARNING" comes true so we can go tear up some ditches this weekend!
I'll have to tell Dyslexic about that brake disc rattle. His 340 rattles quite a bit on low RPMs on the clutch side.
I personally have not had to work on my clutches yet. They all sound pretty strong, and seem to work well. I'll see if Dyslexic knows anything. I know he just bought a Comet clutch for his 340, so we'll see how that goes.
Sorry I couldn't be any help. Keep us posted if you find out more info on...
