Talk about the old days...first ride was a 19hp Alouette 1972 I think and then progressed to 74 Polaris 340 Electra. We thought we had the world by the tail then 40 horse 18" track and go anywhere. I have no idea how many miles myself and 3 brothers put on that thing but it did not sit still...
Motorfist all the way....I am about your size and sweat bad with the insulated stuff. Went out and bought last year Motorfist bibs and jacket at about 65% of new cost and just layer up for the cold. Great stuff and I stay dry now.

Golden Triangle (|Wct, Swan Hills, Fox Creek, Edson) is great with good snow conditions...lots of cutlines and power lines. I agree with posters above about Strathcona County....I would not even think of not trailering around there and so many nice ditches to ride if the snow is good....but way...
Good stuff...I grew up in Sk also and can relate to this type of riding.....make do with what you have is the motto....at least they have enough snow to get the track turning. I wish we did:cool:
