i would tend to agree with your statement however when you consider the fact that the torque is also higher than stock and at least slp is being yery honest about their production pipes. it made a huge difference in the midrange and also the top end. i had to increase the clutch weight to 68...
i bit the bullett and installed the pipe and commander. it took less than an hour to put on and fit perfectly.ive only drag raced it in fernie this past weekend and placed 2nd in the improved stock 800 class. out of 10-15 sleds i only lost to a very well set up xp with a high comp head.it ran...
so sorry to hear about this trajic accident. i just hope that at least it is an eye opener to all of us that enjoy this sport that mother nature is always in charge.please get educated about playing in the back country and make smart choices when we are there.we lost 8 of our own in 2008 and it...
: if you are within driving distance to fernie this weekend come down to our races. 2 grand for 1st place in the open mod class should bring out the big dogs. all classes will be run including kitty cat races for kids.fun fun fun.it is held behind the stanford inn near fernie. starts at 10 am...
i heard on another thread that some of the guys are taking the brake lever off and filing a bit of material off of the part that touches the piston of the master cylinder.check to see if your park brake is hard to apply and if so that should fix it.
when i went to the 66 gr weights i thought i would have to shave a little bit off of them but to my surprise it pulls 8000-8100 rpm all day long at 7000 ft.as far as clutch heat they got cooler with the heavy weights.the clutches must be working efficiently now.iwasthinking of installing mtxs...
thanks for that informative thread. just one thing you commented on is the falling flat on topend.ive noticed that on mine so i imediatley went in to the primary and added weight.i ride at about 5000-7500 ft and the sled came with 62g weights.it was constantly hitting 83-8500 rpm so i took a...
the boys from fernie would be happy to ride with you this weekend. thanks guys for your new comments but just a few things. ive found that our pros are hardly going through any oil at all (scary) . ive got 4 rides in and it only took about 2 / 3rds of a litre with approx 225 miles. i cant see...
i had the engine cut out intermittently on mine but what i think it was is that the engine was over reving 8400 rpm. threw heavier weights at it and cut out was gone.also gained track speed at 8000.
hi guys im new to this forum but what i see here is nothing but comparisons on which sled out climbs the other. what about all out ease of sidehilling and just being able to throw your sled around.i have owned all three sleds and the rmk is definitely the most nimble and has the best balance...
