mine does the same thing. always has as far as i can remember. you dont happen to have a manual by chance maybe you could help me out with some specs. i need torque specs for all engine bolts and possibly spk. plug gap if at all possible thanks
i have a 98 rmk 600 and i just need a few specs. i want to know the spark plug gap and the torques on all the engine bolts. i am doing a rebuild and just want to make sure everything is to spec. i you could help me out that would be awesome thanx.
check recoils... if plastic parst are melted put a little foil tape over the outside of the recoil. it helps reflect the mufler heat and reduce melting
maybe check your engine elignment. if uve had your motor out or mybe it just twisted loose your primary may be out of line causing u to blow belts. take it to a dealership and they have alignment bars made for differnt models... it takes maybe a half hour to do an engine alignment

id say f it and go to martin motorsports in edmonton... haha jk but to tell u the truth dont buy an xp cuz if u bump it the wrong way u'll tweak the bulkhead. skidoo went too lightweigh and sacraficed a lot of reinforcement in the chassis design
