    New truck for towing

Thanks for all the replies, lots of useful info here. The truck is going to be a tow/haul specific truck as I'm planning to keep my F150 for my daily driver work truck and only use the HD truck when I need it. It seems like most recommend the diesel for this type of use and I'm leaning that way...

    New truck for towing

I picked up a 10,000 lb bumper pull RV this summer. Before buying I knew my F150 would be stretched to tow this trailer and it definitely is, so I'm now in the market for a second truck. I'm likely going with a 1 ton but undecided between gas or diesel. I will be doing trips through mountains...

    Travel Trailer Tires

Great info, thanks I've ordered a set of Carlisles from the 3 sons Integra tire here, they were also recommended by some others folks I met here

    Travel Trailer Tires

I just picked up a 2018 Outdoors RV travel trailer. It's an "offroad capable" trailer. I'm in St Albert for a few days and need to get some new tires put on. If anyone has recommendations for local tire shops and what tires to go with, I would appreciate it.

Wild Rose Shows in Behchokò by Yellowknife

I took my kids to the carnival in Yellowknife and they loved it! Only rode the little train as they thought the other rides looked too wild, haha. Thanks a lot for coming all the way up here!

    RV water heater

I winterized my RV last season but forgot to drain the hot water tank :( I'm guessing the liner is cracked now as the hot water has a nice rust color to it. Any recommendations on where to pick up a new one in the Edmonton area? I'm on a trip right now and passing through this week. My current...

    Karyon bogan

https://www.karyon.ca/karyon-xtreme-toboggan/ Has anyone ever used one of these? I'm thinking about buying one to use for hauling lumber (cabin build), ice fishing stuff, etc, and wondering if it is any good? I would use it primarily on lakes and a little bit of trail use.

    Slow down my sled!

I guess I should have explained this better. Without disengaging the throttle and clutch the sled runs this fast. Yes, I can blip the throttle on and off and run the sled at 5 km/h, but I dont think its ideal to run the sled like this for an extended period of time. I have had lots of sleds...

    Slow down my sled!

I have a 2019 Backcountry 600. This may seem strange but I want to slow it down, or decrease the minimum speed. Reason for this is for riding with my kids and really tight bush riding. If I recall correctly from last season it runs around 30-40 km/h at a minimum. To slow this down should I gear...

    Octane for Etec

Thanks for the replies so far. Its interesting my 2011 600 Etec has been exclusively on regular with no issues ever, but I am guessing there are differences between the old and new ones.

    Octane for Etec

I've got a 2019 Backcountry 600. I always ride from home and I can easily access a card lock with regular gas but no premium available. I'm wondering if this is a problem to use regular? Who runs regular in their Etecs? We have a 2011 600 that we run with regular with no problem. Are the engines...

    What's it worth?

I'm looking for a 146 x 2" or better yet a 137 x 2". I'm in Yellowknife and anything longer takes the fun out of it for me. The riding here ranges from 3' of powder on a lake edge or in the bush to hardpack trails and lakes. Right now I'm just looking in town and theres not a lot of choices...

    What's it worth?

OK the freeride was a no go. I'm looking at this one now. Here's what he says: 2017 Ski Doo backcountry 600 etec 146" track with electric start Sled has only 1400km and is in mint condition besides small crack on side panel. Comes with ggb mountain can, (still have stock can) ski doo cover and...

    What's it worth?

OK thanks for all the replies, I'll have to see if he is willing to go lower. The sled is in Yellowknife and unfortunately probably even used sleds go for a premium here as there is just no selection.
