not sure about the driveshafts or clutches, but like i say the frames are different. its more work than just replacing the control arms too, the 500 frames dont have the mounts for the 650/800 control arms. keep us posted if you do try to take this project on.

its not just the number of control arms, its the way that the frame is different and how the force is transmited throught it. ive ridden a 500 outie and a 650 outie and there is quite a difference in the amount of power

Ya it might fit, but i also know that the 650's also have the heavier upper and lower control arm front suspension. Sorry, but i just dont think the 500 frame will hold up

Another thing that is different between the 500 and the 800 is he front suspension. The 500 has a strut and lower control arm and will not take that much of a beating (i know i rode a friends 500 Outie). The 800 Rene and Outie have shocks, upper and lower control arms up front. With all that...

All that it will o is lie to the pcm about the air temp going into the motor. Cooler air is more dense and the pcm will inject more fuel to compensate. Im not a fan of just "fattening" up a motor without doing an exhaust upgrade. More fuel in really does need more air in also. Ive had...

My roommates 2008 500xt was doing the same thing and Riverside in St. Albert replaced the front struts an it was all good. Sounds like your ealer is just being a bunch of dusches.

I know that i might be wrong, but i thought that the Itp wheels were build with the off set needed to run wider tires on the Can-ams without using wheel spacers?

I had my stock 08 Renny up to 124KM/H on RR 25 before i had to slow down for the highway. And i had my parts guy check and as far as he can tell the clutching for the Outty and Renny are the same.

I'm running 28 mudlites on my rennyand just broke the front shaft just inside the gearcase. My friend who works at riverside says that they have replaced several of them.
