Not much for updates lately....we rode eagles yesterday. Snow was alright. Maybe 10" fresh depending on the area but the groomers been down for a bit so the trail is pretty much shot down low tell you start getting up into the teens. Were due for one of those big spring dumps any time now.
mawell where are you spending all this time riding at 8000ft around here? you seem to be gaining elevation constantly here when most of us typically ride in the 5-6500 ft range your turbo 850 slowly becomes less relevant. hell i might as well just ride my sidewinder....
I think they are onto something for sure but sadly the pricing is out to lunch. the rmk evo is a better buy in my eyes at half the price. leaves you lots of money to go the chris burandt route and turn it into a sweet little mod sled. id still love to see one in person tho.
IV got a bunch of things I'd like know but might be hard to compair. I wonder what the khaos attack angle looks like vs the rest. Maybe a twin rail cat to just for reference. I find it funny how we are kinda going backwards with the attack angle. I remember how hot all the doolaid drinkers we're...
Iv been thinking about doing this on the wife's alpha and maybe my winder cuz I don't totally buy into what ice age has to say about their rails when the alpha doesn't require anything. I also have a kmod that's in my spare sled iv thought about putting in the winder but IV never been able to...
we rode Monday and it was the worst day iv had this season but honesty not that bad. real wind blown but still rode a few areas that were over the hood. it was wind blown in most places. snow in the trees has set up pretty good to but the storm today should help.
We went up owls yesterday for a top notch day. Over the hood all day and never crossed another set of tracks other then the trail. Just when you think you've had one of the best days the weekend before it just keeps getting better. Some spots had upwards of 4' of nice dry fresh. Should be good...
Was a pretty great day at owls. We Rode lots of fresh pretty much all day in the waist to chest deep range. The snow from the big storm was pretty wet but still does the trick. I really appreciate all you folks that head for the back end.
besides the stock kit. I put in some wire. 6" crescent wrench. vice grips. bunch of zipties. good ratchet strap. 1/4" rope. some of its heavy but worth its weight I found when I bent a tie rod half way around the shock. I do double up on some of the small stuff in my pack and some of the other...
