Another awesome day for a ride. Thank you to everyone from the CSC who ran the rally, and groomed the trails. We couldn't make any mistakes this year, very well signed.
My son had a GIO quad (China). The engine run switch, the thumb throttle and the sound of the electric start and engine are identical. I wonder if it is ONLY electric start. The quad was.

I'm trying to do maintenance on my secondary and it won't come apart. Removed the snap ring, and it took some work to get it to move on the shaft. I can now bottom it out, but the helix will only come apart flush with the shaft. Then I used wood wedges and a large clamp to split the sheaves...
Great day on Saturday. South trails were in good shape. First 15 minutes out of parking lot however.... my poor suspension. Thanks Bunn for being so photogenic.
Member Bunn, his brother and I were in the south end of the area today. Snowed a couple of inches down south. Skyline has 4foot drifts at the summit. Good coverage and if it continues to snow it will be great this weekend. The logging road
is closed to traffic just passed the second photo...
After checking all alignment and tolerence specs, I discovered something that I was unaware of. As I am rather new to Ski doo I didn't know there was an engine torque set rod. It was backed off with about 5-6mm of gap between it and the engine. I guess that if the engine is allowed to rotate...
I had a 95 Yammy that ended up with "sinks" instead of floats. Fuel saturated them. I put them in a small jar with gas and they went right to the bottom. After replacing them the sled ran great.
