    Hinton/brule lake

So you think we will be able to ride out from the Wild Horse Lake campground? So sick of how hard it is to just camp and ride my quad.... They love my tax money, but love to make it difficult to enjoy my family pass-time that harms NOBODY.... unlike bike lanes...

Riding in east, southeast of province

I am in the same boat, Just got back from a week at Big Horn Dam... which was good.. But no Camp Fire when its this cold was a bigger deal then I had thought... Also now the trails are close until July 1st. I think its beyond ridiculous that you can not have a fire at Long Island Lake, when...

    Big horn ?

Any idea what the conditions at Big Horn are like right now ? I imagine the road in to the camping spot is always decent as you have people working at the dam . Our family plans to camp out there next weekend in the RV hoping we will be able to make it in .

Thank god, I always follow OHV bans in the past and usually understand. This time was just too much, within the next 2 weeks I hope to be out camping in a RV with Family riding every day.

They Just Banned OHV use for the season in Alberta...

You are correct looks like the area around brazeau might be out.... At least it looks like Long lake will be a go... In the past I would see Fish Cops almost everytime I would go out to the well known crown land camping spots near trails, so I would rather play it safe and ensure its an area...

They Just Banned OHV use for the season in Alberta...

Wow guys, you made my ****ing day! I read the CBC article that stated all of Alberta OHV was banned, it is only the forest protection area. I did plan on hunkering down in Big Horn Dam for a few weeks, but can hit up the Athabasca area or Brazeau Dam instead and be just fine! Will be scouting...

They Just Banned OHV use for the season in Alberta...

As usual our hobby is under threat this season. As of right now they have banned OHV in all of Alberta with the exception of First Nations & on private land... The way it was stated it sounds serious.... The one thing I was looking forward to during this quarrantine, was to get out camping...

    Ruby falls

My friends and I are planning a trip to do Ruby Falls this weekend. How is the road in ? Some of us have large Motorhomes and plan on staying at the staging area, think we will have any problems getting in ?
