Yamaha Roll Over / Kill Tether

burnt toast, The Yamaha unit used a normally open tether switch that closes the circuit when the cord is pulled. So you can use any normally open switch of your choice. To replace it, just cut the two wires going to your existing switch, then slice in the 2 wires from your new switch. The wire...

Installed Skinz Front End & Shocks

That's good to hear Kibbels, I'm in the process of installing the Skinz front end on my XTX. My main goals are to improve the side hilling and make the sled easier/reduce the effort required to hold a counter steer in wet/heavy snow. Bill

what do i need to do to get a chalenger extreme on my xtx

Changing from a 9 tooth (2.52" pitch) to a 8 tooth (2.52" pitch) sprocket will reduce your effective gear ratio by 1.12. For example 9 tooth sprocket with 20/39 gears has a final ratio of 1.95 to 1 8 tooth sprocket with 20/39 gears has a final ratio of 2.18 to 1 9 tooth sprocket with 18/39...

    timbersled front suspsion on xtx

Not bad, wasn't as stable as the 43" though. The 39" feels lighter in the mountains, if that makes sense. I should add that I do not run a sway bar. I think if a guy ran the 39" with a sway bar, it probably would feel about the same as a 43" without a sway bar on the trails. I ride 90% mountains...

    timbersled front suspsion on xtx

If I remember correctly when I measured mine they were 17.5". If you do much side hilling I would recommend going with the 39" Timbersled front end. I've had both the 43" and 39" versions and the 39" is more mountain friendly, while the 43" works better on the trail. I am using the 39" front end...

what do i need to do to get a chalenger extreme on my xtx

With the stock 9 tooth 2.52" pitch drivers, a 2" fits no problem. A 2 1/4" should fit, but it will be close. For a 2 1/2" 144" you'll need to go with 8 tooth 2.52" drivers. If you use 9 tooth extrovert driver's on an XTX, the front of the rails will need to be shortened approx 5/16"-3/8" or the...

    oft relocator

I'll be riding with a guy over presidents weekend, who I believe still is running a TRX-1. I should be able to check out the connections then for you guys! Thats a good point about the RX-1 having an "auto-shut down mode" due to the carbs flooding out. Where as an EFI sled will keep running, for...

    Nytro Tach

Yes the EFI Vector gauge works great! The connector plugs right in and the wiring pattern is the same as the Nytro. To have the clock retain memory, a constant battery power wire need to be added. The pin location is the empty slot above the brown wire.
