We went up the blackwater saturday. Great snow for first weekend in December. No base whats so ever. Lots of rocks just under the snow. The Alpine was socked in snowing. Played in the trees and had a blast all day. Probed the snow just before the alpine and there was 42". Once this snow sets up...

Lucille and bell mountains are close to town with tons of area to park. Renshaw has a 28 or so km trail to the cabin and is a very scenic ride. All 3 mountains will be good to take the family as all 3 are groomed.

There could be 4 feet of fresh powder on renshaw but there will always be no snow at the cabin. Every time Ive been out this year I have found snow. I know the area mind you. I tell people when im fishing."No fish here". Keeps people out. lol. If you cant find good snow. Ensure you cant...
