It doesn't matter if they had a recall or not you still need a recall notice from Yamaha. My brother just bought a viper from the states and it had no recalls but he still needed a recall notice directly from yamaha.
How far do you travel to get to a ralley.
I figure about 2 hours is far enough, but they all seem to be at least 4 hours away. The only close ralley so far (st. paul) is spoiled because of an inlaws wedding:mad::rant:
The tree is still alive and laughing.
After a summer of ebay shopping, $700 welding and about $500 dollars aftermarket parts it got back together just in time for christmas.
Last winter I hit a tree which resulted in a bent trailing arm, both radias rods, steering rod, bulkhead, chassis, shock, both clutches(smashed together), and carburators went through airbox.
my sled is an 03 viper, and there is no battery.
W
hen I unhook the headlight the problem seems to go away. I hooked up to another viper and the problem was back. Is it possible that a stuck dimmer switch relay would cause this?
I just got in from riding and am losing power. My lights keep getting dimmer, and my digital guage goes out when I put on the brake or high beam. The engine is also missing at open throttle.
I am thinking it is probably the voltage regulator but don't Know for sure. Any ideas or suggestions...
