    Compound Bow

I’ve had 3 Bowtech’s, great bows. In my opinion the best technology out there. Don’t need a bow press to tune your bow with their Deadlock technology, 2 screws to adjust draw weight, adjust your draw length with 4 Allen screws and can swap between performance & comfort pull back weight with the...

Anyone else off road in Jeeps or Trucks?

No issues getting to Margaret lake with a stock vehicle. If there is ice you will need chains, there a couple short/steep hills. Been there a bunch on quads.

    Crypto currencies 101.....for us neophytes.

You got 3x your entry. That is successful. Bitcoin does well when US stock market is well (1.5 times S&P), drops when stocks drop. As you said it’s extremely volatile. Re-enter when nobody on S&M is buying Bitcoin….

    eBikes and related things.

I don’t even know where to start. Which e-bikes are the way to go for town or mellow trail riding? Sold my dirtbike last year as hardly used, ability to ride from home on an ebike is what I’d like to do more of.

    Mid-Sized SUV's

Escalade XL, Yukon XL are only GM products that will work for you. Looks like 6 more cuft space over the max. Brother is on his 2nd Escalade XL and has 4 kids too.

    Mid-Sized SUV's

So a few things you need to really nail down: -how often do you need more than 5 people? We have a 2018 Enclave, so essentially a traverse. 3rd row and tons of storage, more than non XL Yukon’s. A few times of the year we use the 3rd row but most of them are only for a quick 10 min drive and 1...

Shopping for a used $70k motorhome

Those motorhomes lose their value extremely fast so should be able to find a good deal closer to spring. Bought a Class C late summer, those things hold their value good. Saw a lot of great class A diesels out there.

Best place to source merino wool base layers

Klim & FXR merino baselayers suck avoid them. I’ve got some hunting brands (Kuiu, First Lite) and they are awesome. Hiking brands like Minus33, Icebreaker are also high quality. Costco is best bang for buck.

So did UCP cheat? Did they mess with those counting machines?

    Pierre Wins!

Do like them, vote PPC to make yourself feel good and split the vote to help ensure Trudeau gets in. Trudeau is probably pals with Bernier, I should make a meme picture and post it on the dark web… seems like the only way to get some “masses” to think.

Looking to buy new Ram 1500

The only time to buy a ram truck is if you get a smoking deal, cause your resale is gonna suck. Have had a few and likely will have more as they are solid truck, but they certainly don’t hold value like GM/Ford.

Who's your Electricity Supplier and who has the best rates?

Exact same Enmax rate to December 2026, had 5.79 before this contract. No brainer to lock in whatever you can with Enmax as I think you can swap over to variable anytime. Next few years expect very low natural gas pricing as US shale continues to gas out, so hopefully that translates to lower...

    Banking Collapse?

When the people say the world is gonna end and everything is collapsing it’s time to buy. Worked good in the past during the covid hysteria and will work good again. More pain ahead though in the markets expected.

    Credit Cards

WestJet card sucks, had it twice before, probably the worst point redeeming system I’ve seen, you’re really missing on money using that card. I’m running AMEX Cobalt as primary and MBNA Mastercard as 2nd. AMEX works for 80% of my purchases, accepted most places except Costco, Loblaws, A&W and...
