If you plan on going to Houston, be aware there is no diesel in Houston, Esso and Petro Can have card locks, and the Petro can card lock was out of service, had to coast into Burns Lake on fumes, got lucky making it in, for a town of that size I was very suprised no service station had diesel

I find it supprising that the big 4 sled manufacturers are not on the band wagon with funding and expertize to help keep these areas open, ultimatly they, along with us comsumers, are the ones that will suffer. No mountian ares to sled = no production of mountian sleds, does anyone out there...

Went to Miledge on Monday, snowed all day, trial was OK, snow conditions were fantastic, bad visability tho, went to Allan on Tuesday, back to super bowl, good snow, and lots of sunshine, awesome riding for this time of year, lots of snow in both parking lots
A guide is probably helpfull, we didn't for the first day, Jim from the King Edward, came out the 2nd day and showed us quite a bit more, (great guy), lots of riding area there, bigger than you can imagine, the border crossing into the USA is non-existant, there isn't one, just drive accross...
No slides to speak of, a few small sloughs, we mostly stayed off the steep stuff for that reason, spooked this year, best to err on the side of caution and sled next year, quite a ways for every year, but every two years in a very possible possibility, this place should be on everyone's bucket list
