    Tumbler ridge riding conditions 2017/2018

Lol... They got hit hard in the last couple days so it's pretty good riding, trails are whooped out of course where I went because they don't groom but the meadows and cut blocks are in great shape!

    Tumbler ridge riding conditions 2017/2018

.....hmmmmm, really quiet in here this year.... I just got back from tumbler last night, snow conditions are just terrible... Man there was like 2-3' of fresh everywhere making it a pain to move even on level ground... Total gong show... Don't bother going unless you like being stuck in...

So how are the 2018’s holding up?

Do you need to kinda "jump" on the high side board when starting into a side hill even in decent powder to get the sled on edge? Noticed this on the weekend...

So how are the 2018’s holding up?

Ain't broke nothing yet... Still have 40% break in left but I've been rather hard on it when ever I get the chance... Towed a cranky 850 Turbo off the mountain yesterday 25km'ish back to the truck... See what the belt looks like when I get er in the shop tonite at home... The stock bumper...

    Sicamous Sled Shop and Service

Ive read the WHOLE thread since it started... Also popped in to the shop a few days ago to check it out... Wallet took a hit before I left... Good folks, plenty of wisdom there. What I'm chuckling about is the caliber of HD "mechanik" one would get for $90hr... I've seen em, met em, fixed what...

    Sicamous Sled Shop and Service

While some of my breatherin may scab out their service truck for that ridiculous rate I can assure you even as an hourly employee that's not far from my hourly OT rate... If you think it's expensive hiring a good mechanic... Try hiring a cheap one.

    Sicamous Sled Shop and Service

Swung by today to see what all the hype was about, picked up some Munster goodies for the G4 and a hoodie... Nice place, friendly staff... I hope they do well!

Eagle valley / sicamous updates 2017/18

Rode hunters range yesterday, apparently over 170+ riders checked in... Took the fun way up and the trail was smooth, took the groomed trail down and she was pretty rough.. Currently 6" of fresh snow at the house in Kelowna.

Hunters range conditions 2017 2018 riding season

Snow in the area is terrible... Stay away... Yeah... So totally not worth going... Waste of time really... only 2' of fresh in the alpine... Hardly enough to keep the sliders cool.

Hunters range conditions 2017 2018 riding season

A lil birdie tells me there is too much fresh snow to ride in the mountains rite now... ....well more like 7-8" of fresh in the bottom of the valley with that much again expected over night... Should be a great week or two of riding!!

Hunters range conditions 2017 2018 riding season

Important info on the LinQ Removable Snow Flap LinQ install

I dident mount the Linq brackets to my tunnel... I'll just toss the flap off with my gas can when I hit the alpine... might use the extra brackets to add a 3rd option on the tunnel seeing as how the old style gas can and the new SR21 tunnel bag won't both fit with the pre drilled locations...

    2017 / 2018 Valemount Conditions and Updates

Yeah I did the same on the same days, was a bit of untouched at Allan but you had to be desperate or mentally ill to attempt getting to it... Looks like a reload is coming next weekend... I'll be in the Shuswap for 10 days over Christmas so fingers crossed.
