while you have gone this far have the injectors checked out or you will be doing this all over again. and move the low pressure pump out from under the motor while in there.
its nice being from sask. me and murminator used our wit and dodged the fuzz all weekend. had a great time and enjoyed meeting all the great people. cant wait for next year and I will not be known as the guy with the short sled next year. lol
my thinking is clickers on 5 and revving it to 81-82 is going to kill it. i spent alot of time on my setup und have clickers on 3 at 7800 all day. granted mine is a mach and not a summit but i dont lose many races  if you keep losing revs i would closely look at fuel pressure and voltage...
i am right around the 190 mark now. i have cudney domes, plugged decomps, bikeman mod pipe, bikeman can(only one that didnt lose against the gun) relocated aftermarket fuel pump, bondi trail port and clutching, regeared 27 49 with summit chain and tensioner, running 05 mapping with a timing tweak...
did you ever notice how much fuel was in it when it would bog? if it was under 3/4 of a tank you may have a low pressure pump issue. did the check engine light come on? also was this bog after WOT running? some of these go into limp mode(which kills bearings) after WOT activity.
what map is in it?
you are on the right track with the relays. also test the battery with a multi meter. it needs 12.8 volts to be good and when charging its gotta be in the 14's.
I run my 05 mach with plugged decomps, cudney domes, bikeman pipe and can, a tweaked 05 map (cant say what we did with it :) )which is by far the best mapping out there as I have tried them all. Trouble is you cant get the 05 mapping off BUDS any more. I run bondi clutching and a 1.75 track. it...
the black smoke is often a sign that your e raves are out of whack or your low pressure pump is on its way out. the ay I have dealt with mine is if its running good dont mess with it LOL. I have alot of bolt ons but it was always running right before I started modding.
you dont need more heat. many have found by running t stat you will put it into limp mode. let it run cold on the guage and if its not stuck in warm up loop leave it alone. a few guys have tricked the coolant sensor with a resistor but I have not done this or have had the need too. a few guys...
the 1200 from what I have seen at the drags around here can run with the 800 with a bit of work and look good doing it. I am leaning towards a 1200 renegade to fit my daily needs next year
