The punishment for all crimes needs to be extreme, not just a holiday at an institution with 3 squares and a hot shower every day. Just my opinion but criminals have it better than our seniors.
I agree with Clay, you've got to be prepared to pull off some front end parts and exhaust can and pipe. I've done the last four sleds with these braces and also installed a secondary tower brace.
Just ride the sled, get to know how everything works and have a blast. There are lots of good people on here that will help you. Mods can always be done down the road.
Nice lookin sled highstage, just bought one myself. It's pretty much the same sled as my '09 summit everest. Shoot me a pm if you want to discuss any options for this sled. I'm only 45 minutes away.
Pulled the chaincase cover off today and found the allen bolt that holds the chaincase tensioner bearing loose. This is the bolt that holds the bearing in the tensioner body. My neighbor had his apart also.........finger tight is all this bolt was. Just a heads up to check this before it creates...
Here is my setup on my 09 xp 154, QR11 helix with 160/350 primary spring, pins are 15.3 grams and I'm using joe's ramps. This combo works at home-3500 ft and in the mountains. Also running a 20 tooth top sprocket in the chaincase.
Are the three allen head bolts still in the sliding half or did they get pulled out? If it was taken apart to check the primary spring, maybe the cap was not torqued to spec. Was the bushing checked for wear and the measurement was still under the spec. replacement number?
