If the coating is still good you can reuse them. If the damage is deep you may need to replace the cylinders. I have sleeved some in the past but not sure if it still pays a lot of places have exchange cylinders.

I have a racheting sound coming from the front end area of my 07-400 outlander. It is not a CV sound so I am not sure if this is normal. It has 1000Km and I bought it used .
