Parents have a 42" Fuzion. The quality is one of the best that we could find before you hit the 6 digit$ trailers... Weighs just shy of 20K lbs with out water but the the garage full. You don't realize how big it is till you try to wheel it into a gas station or around a campsite. If you have...
Me to.... Rims and you can see a hint of the front flares that the 5500s get over the 3500s. Not saying they're not aftermarket, because the wheels could be as well.
I did my rockers with endura coatings bed liner? might have been a rocker guard can't remember. But it was the rubberized coating similar to line x. They have a whole book of colours to choose from. Held up really well so far. If you have access to a sand blaster and an air compressor you can do...
If the OEMs put "heavy duty" transmissions in their heavy duty trucks we would have never heard of de-fueling. Its not required, just saves their cute trannys from abuse it should have been designed for.
Always shifting. the 100-110 range is prime material to be constantly going from 5-6. Towing is 4-5-6 deal. with gasers its a 3-4-5-6. Wouldn't be bad except all the new trucks de-fuel to shift which means hesitation. pisses me off.
New power stroke is 440hp/860tq. Straight sassy.
Best chassis. interiors make chevs look like a base model civic.
The torque shift is on par with the allison.
Too bad the 4L80e wasn't an option on new trucks... 6 speeds suck.
We had a big work and play bumper tow, 35'. pulled it originally with a 3/4 ton srw set up. Almost killed us the first time on the high way. Watched the way it was loaded closely after that but I was always chasing what the trailer was doing with the steering wheel. This was with the stabilizing...
X2 for KX Wheels. KX is actually out of cali but the Canadian distributor is Tire Xperts in surrey BC. Got a set of rims from him last fall, ended up being a couple hundred less than the website including tax installed in Canada. Small shop with a good guy running it.
You're killing me with this thread. Ive been going to school in van the past 3 years and keep telling myself to bring a sled out from AB every year. With this recent snow I am really hating myself for not bringing one. If you want to drink beer..... Thats my forte.
275/60R20.... Have 2 sets of rims with that size on them, offset around 13mm out from stock. No rubbing Perfect size for a levelled f150 IMO. Could probably get away with a 275/65/20 with a stock offset wheel. I know theres guys that got up to a 35" on a levelled F150 but they look retarded and...
